TerraSearch has been conducting a combined geophysical survey including Magnetometry and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to uncover evidence of indigenous archaeological sites on the campus of Connecticut College. Our work, which is funded by a grant from the Connecticut State Historic Preservation Office to the College, is being conducted in conjunction with Professor Anthony Graesch, and students from his Archaeological Practice course. Students were able to participate in both GPR and magnetometry work, and work closely with professionals from TerraSearch. The work is ongoing, and has been recently covered by local newspapers and public radio.
